Bob Poole

Born in the fifties, Bob Poole from Birmingham and London England formerly played with British 60's chart group Cupids Inspiration who's biggest hit "Yesterday Has Gone" stayed at the top of the British charts for 8 weeks.
He toured with all the famous bands of that era including: The Love Affair, The Tremeloes, The Swinging Blue Jeans, Marmalade, The Troggs, P.J. Proby, Hermans Hermits, The Nashville Teens and The Drifters.
He went on to play with legendary British rock groups: Chevy, Red On Red and The Billy Rankin Band (ex Nazareth) and appeared live with: Garry Moore, Hawkwind, Paul Young, Roger Chapman, Alex Harvey, Ian Gillan and Alvin Lee..
Bob is a veteran recording artist and has done many T.V. and radio shows over the years and shared recording studios with the likes of The Beatles, Gary Moore and Showaddywaddy.
Since re-locating to Germany in 1991 as a better geographic location for his constant international travelling, Bob has been busy as a solo live performer and has entertained audiences all over the world, specialising in company events and private parties with his special brand of live party music.
As well as his live solo work, Bob is a successful songwriter and record producer.

Over the years Bob has worked as a songwriter and record producer. In the 70’s he co-wrote songs for the British chart group “Cupids Inspiration” and in the 80’s he co-wrote all of the songs recorded and played by the British rock bands “Chevy” and “Red On Red”. Since then Bob has written songs for the German melodic rock group “Freeway”, the German rock group “Humid Basement”, the European rock group “Shark Sandwich”. has written and produced all the songs for the album Long Way From London by the acoustic group “Side By Side”, the maxi CD Songs Through Distance And Time from the Welsh singer “Melanie De’ Vall” and the newly released CD Shine On also by “Melanie De’ Vall”.
